Hey everyone — Mahdi here, co-founder of ExecutESG. I built this in Helsinki because I kept watching the same problem play out across European supply chains. Here's the situation: the EU's CSRD requires large companies to report on sustainability — including their supply chain. That means thousands of SMEs are now getting emails from corporate customers asking for structured ESG data. Most of these companies have 20–50 employees. They don't have sustainability departments. They don't have €10K for a consultant. The EFRAG VSME standard was supposed to fix this — a lighter framework designed for smaller companies. But the standard is a PDF document. Turning it into an actual report still requires understanding what each disclosure means, calculating GHG emissions correctly, and formatting everything for submission. So we built ExecutESG to close that gap. **What's different:** - It follows the VSME structure exactly (Basic B1–B11, Comprehensive C1–C9) — not a generic ESG template - The GHG calculator is built in with Nordic-specific verified emission factors. Enter your energy data, get your Scope 1 and 2 numbers - It exports to XBRL natively using EFRAG's taxonomy. We're the only VSME tool doing this. Machine-readable reporting shouldn't require a separate tagging tool - The Basic Module is free. Not "free trial." Free. We charge €49/month for the Comprehensive Module The stack is Laravel 11 + Livewire 3 for the wizard, Chart.js for emissions visualisations, and a custom XBRL generator. Nothing fancy — just purpose-built for this specific workflow. I built it because SMEs shouldn't need to choose between an expensive consultant and a blank Word document. Would love your feedback.
