Evidoc - Tool to produce evidence-based documentation from ABAP code

by
Evidoc is an AI workbench that turns undocumented SAP ABAP code into evidence-based technical documentation and conservative payroll-impact assessments — grounded in the source, not guessed: • What the program does, section by section • Observed vs inferred, with a risk level and confidence score on each part • A flow diagram of the execution path • An inventory of every table, object and literal it touches • Technical and Payroll modes → export a consulting-grade PDF for your handover pack

Hi, SAP consultant here. After years of doing SAP ABAP and payroll, the thing that never stopped annoying me was inheriting custom Z-code with zero documentation and having to trace it by hand. So I built Evidoc: paste an ABAP program, and it writes evidence-based documentation — purpose, data flow, DB ops, dependencies — separating what's observed in the code from what's inferred, with a risk + confidence score and a full inventory. There's a Payroll mode that flags payroll-relevant logic specifically. Exports to PDF. It's deliberately not a generic "explain my code" bot — it's SAP HCM/Payroll-aware and cautious by design (it won't invent business rules or claim your code is "payroll-safe"). And by default your code isn't stored. I'd genuinely value feedback from fellow SAP folks: what's useful, what's missing, what you'd never trust to a tool.
