What makes writing a eulogy so difficult?

I’ve been building EulogyMate, a tool designed to help people create thoughtful and personal eulogies for someone they’ve lost.

While working on it, I realized that the hardest part often isn’t writing itself — it’s knowing where to begin.

People may have many memories and emotions, but turning them into a meaningful speech can feel overwhelming, especially during a difficult time.

EulogyMate tries to make that first step easier by guiding people through a few simple questions about the person, their memories, personality, and the tone they want.
