I built EulogyMate to make the first draft a little easier

Yesterday I asked what makes writing a eulogy so difficult.

One thing became clear to me while building EulogyMate: people often already know what they want to say — they have the memories, stories, and emotions — but turning all of that into a clear and meaningful speech can be difficult, especially during a stressful time.

That’s why I built EulogyMate.

Instead of starting with a blank page, users are guided through a few simple questions about their loved one, their relationship, important memories, personality, and the tone they want.

EulogyMate then helps turn those details into a structured first draft that users can edit and make their own.

The goal isn’t to replace someone’s personal words. It’s simply to make getting started a little easier.
