I developed a clean, free online engineering calculation toolkit.
Hello everyone! I'm an Android engineer with 8 years of experience and an independent developer still exploring new avenues. Today, I'd like to share a new project I recently developed and launched: EngineeringTools.
🔗 Website: https://engineeringtools.net/
💡 Why create this website?
There are many engineering calculators and tools websites on the market, but many suffer from several pain points: either their interfaces are outdated and filled with pop-up ads; or their mobile experience is extremely poor, making smooth operation on mobile phones difficult; some even collect users' calculation data.
As an engineer with a strong focus on interface and user experience, coupled with a deep interest in web development, I decided to create a truly user-friendly, minimalist, professional, and completely free engineering calculation website, hoping to help engineers, architects, and students in their work and studies.
🛠️ Core Functions
The website currently offers a series of professional calculation modules:
📏 Multifunctional Unit Converter: Quickly and accurately converts core engineering units such as length, mass, pressure, and temperature.
🏗️ Mechanics of Materials: Supports calculations of beam deflection, stress, and strain for common engineering scenarios.
⚡ Circuit Design Assistance: Easily solves Ohm's law, power equation calculations, and analysis of series/parallel circuits.
🌊 Fluid Dynamics: Supports rapid calculation of complex fluid dynamics data such as Reynolds number, flow rate, and pipe pressure drop.
✨ Product Highlights
As an independently developed project, I adhered to the following principles in product design:
🔒 Absolute Privacy First: Your data remains permanently in your browser. The website uses pure client-side calculations and does not store any calculation data or project details, ensuring the security of engineering data.
📱 Mobile Ready: Adopts a fully responsive design. Whether you're using a computer in the office, on a construction site, or in a classroom, you'll enjoy a smooth user experience.
✅ Verified Formulas: All calculations are based on standard engineering manuals and peer-reviewed formulas, ensuring professionalism and accuracy.
🤝 We Look Forward to Your Feedback
This is an exploratory project in my independent development and web development journey. The website is currently undergoing continuous iteration and is completely free to use.
We eagerly await feedback from the community! Whether it's complaints about the UI interaction, suggestions for new calculation tools, or ideas for future project optimizations, please leave a comment in the comment section. Thank you for your support!
