Have you ever asked ChatGPT to recommend your own business?

I've been experimenting with how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity recommend businesses, and something interesting keeps coming up.

Businesses that rank well on Google don't necessarily appear when someone asks AI for recommendations. Sometimes AI recommends competitors instead. Other times, it doesn't mention the business at all.

That's part of what led me to build Endata.

But I'm curious about something beyond the technology.

Have you ever asked an AI assistant to recommend a business in your own industry or location?

Did it mention yours? Did it recommend your competitors? Or were the results completely unexpected?

I'm particularly interested in hearing from founders and business owners who've tried this.
