Would you trust an AI agent to run your email marketing end to end?
Hey makers 👋
I’m Sohail. I’ve spent years running lifecycle and CRM automation for several products, and one thing keeps bugging me.
Email still has some of the best ROI of any channel, but running it well needs planning: segments, triggers, drip timing, deliverability, and following up on replies. Most founders and small teams don’t have an email person, so their lists just sit there.
AI already writes the emails. I think the next step is agents running the whole thing: you describe what you want, by prompt or voice, and the campaign, automation and follow-ups get built and sent for you.
I’m curious where everyone here stands:
Would you let an agent send to your list without reviewing every email first, or is that a hard no?
Which part of email marketing do you dread most: setup, writing, automations, or handling replies?
If you’ve dropped email entirely, what made you stop?
Full disclosure: this is the problem I’ve been building Email Digit around, and we launch here on Sunday, November 15. I’d rather hear honest opinions now than find out on launch day that I got something wrong. 🙏
