Echo - Instant AI, anywhere. Highlight any text. CMD1. Done.

Echo puts AI in every Mac app. Select text, press one shortcut, and reply, translate, clean up or summarize — without leaving the app you're in.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
A few months ago I was writing an email, needed to translate a line, and caught myself doing the whole dance — select text, copy, open ChatGPT, paste, wait, copy the answer, paste it back. For the hundredth time.
That's the moment I decided to build Echo: same AI, but it lives inside every app you already use on your Mac. Highlight any text, hit a shortcut, get your result right there — no tab-switching, no copy-paste.
Excited (and a little nervous) to share this with you all — feedback welcome, good or bad!

Hi! Is this available for use anywhere, or is it restricted to the specific apps you discussed, or perhaps just any standard text field?

@enzo20 Hi Enzo ! Thanks for the reply. Echo works as a native Mac app that runs system-wide, not tied to any specific app. As long as you can highlight text (in Mail, Google Docs, your CRM, any browser, any text field) Echo will work there. Let me know if you give it a try!
