Hey Product Hunt 👋

While building MorningZero, I’m always juggling lots of tools and quick POCs to figure things out. One thing kept frustrating me: my Mac’s storage would fill up, Claude Code would start warning me, and builds and installs would get stuck, sometime, even not able to launch a single instance of Claude Code and others.

Every time, I had to pause my work and dig through folders to figure out what was safe to delete and what wasn’t. once a small space is available, ask claude to analyse and do the cleaning, again verifying what can be removed and what not.

So in my free time I built Ebb to fix this once and for all:

  • It checks your Mac once a day, by itself

  • It tells you what can be removed safely: old node_modules, caches and build files, plus duplicates, old installers, unused local AI models and old AI agent chats

  • It isn’t limited to project files: you can add your own rules for any folder or file type

  • It never touches projects you’re actively working on

  • You click once and it’s gone, and everything goes to the Trash, so you can put it back, or clear trash from it

  • Its menu bar icon always shows how much space can be cleared

Free and open source (MIT). Everything runs locally on your Mac. There’s no account and no tracking, and nothing ever leaves your machine.
