I built Shakti360 around one question: **Can personal safety technology help people feel more supported without requiring them to give up their privacy?** Many safety tools depend heavily on continuous location tracking or focus only on what happens after someone presses an SOS button. I wanted to explore a different approach. Shakti360 Guardian is built around **purpose-bound safety sessions**. You can start a Safe Journey, select trusted guardians, define an expected arrival time, receive check-ins, and temporarily share relevant journey information. When the journey ends, that sharing is designed to end with it. Building the production version also taught me a lot—from authentication and CSRF protection to PWA behavior, API routing, PostgreSQL, Docker deployment, external-provider failures, and location/resource reliability. The current system has passed **66 automated backend tests and 36 production smoke-test operations** across the major API capabilities. Shakti360 was built during Dora Hack 2.0 by DoraDAO, where I took the project from idea → build → deployment → public launch.
