Some nights midnight, some nights 2 AM. Weekends I'd sleep in to catch up. I'd wake up tired, drink coffee, push through, and repeat. Not dramatic — no insomnia, nothing clinical. Just no structure and no real awareness that it was a problem. At some point I started reading the actual science behind sleep. Not tips — the mechanics. Why wake time matters more than bedtime. Why eating late affects how you feel the next morning. Why 8 hours in bed can still leave you wrecked. Once I understood the reasons, the habits started making sense. Before that they just felt like rules I kept breaking. I'm building an app around this — duskprotocol.app — but before anything else I want to hear from real people.
