Why is planning a trip with friends still so chaotic?
Planning something with friends always seems simple at first.
“Let’s go away for a weekend.”
Then comes the group chat.
Where should we go?
When is everyone available?
Who booked what?
Who paid for whom?
Where are the tickets?
Which photo was sent three weeks ago?
I kept running into this myself while organizing trips, weekends, festivals and plans with friends. What should have been the fun part often turned into scrolling through hundreds of messages, creating polls, checking notes and switching between different apps.
At first, I thought this was just how my groups worked.
Then I started looking around Reddit and social media and realized the same frustrations kept coming up again and again: coordinating dates, making group decisions, tracking shared expenses and keeping everything in one place.
That recurring problem eventually became the starting point for Dunezokit Trips.
I wanted to see what would happen if the organization of a group experience actually lived in one shared space — while keeping the social side of it.
I’d love to know how other people handle this:
When you organize a trip or event with friends, what part usually becomes the most chaotic?
