Finally released today, their , but here are the highlights from the announce email: Hi developers, On Wednesday, we the official launch of API v2. This means it’s out of preview, and ready for your production apps! The new face of the Dropbox Platform API v2 comes with a lot improvements over the Core API. You can still access all your files, user info, sharing, and team functionality, but with more consistency across the endpoints. For more details, , and check out our . New endpoints: Shared folders Along with the new API v2 comes some new functionality: shared folders. These endpoints let your app create shared folders, manage permissions, and invite people to collaborate. You can check out , , and more to see how your app can new take advantage of Dropbox’s sharing experiences. New feature: File IDs Ever lost track of a file in a user’s Dropbox because they moved it, and thus changed the path? With File IDs, you won’t have to worry about that again.
