Hi Product Hunt! I’m an architect-turned-indie developer, and Draftio came from a frustration I knew firsthand as a designer.
Creative workflows are still too fragmented. You generate in one tool, edit in another, organize references somewhere else, and lose context between every step. I wanted a workspace that actually matched how visual people think and work.
So I built Draftio as a canvas-native AI creative tool for designers: a place where images, videos, references, and edits can stay connected in one workflow.
What makes this story even stranger is that I’m not a traditional engineer. Draftio has grown into roughly 380,000 lines of code, built through vibe coding, iteration, and an obsessive belief that designers deserve tools made from the inside out, not handed down by people who’ve never worked this way.
In many ways, Draftio is a product made by a real designer, for designers.
