Dosi: Medication reminders for routines that don't fit a simple alarm
Hello 👋 I’m the maker of Dosi.
When I looked at medication reminder apps, nearly all of them were built for one thing: a pill at a fixed time, every day. That’s fine until a routine gets real. A dose has to come after breakfast, but breakfast moves on weekends. A pill runs three weeks on, one week off. One person manages meds for themselves, a parent, and the dog.
That’s the gap I built Dosi for. You set doses around your meals and they move when your mealtimes change. It handles cycles, doses that step up or down over time, and as-needed meds with a minimum gap between them. Each family member gets a profile, pets included, so you can see the whole household’s doses on one screen. You can take, skip or snooze a dose right from the notification or your Apple Watch.
I also didn’t want anyone handing over health data just to get a reminder. There’s no account and no sign-up, and Dosi doesn’t collect anything. Your data stays on your device and syncs through your own iCloud. If you’re switching from another app, you can import your medications and history from Apple Health.
It’s free for up to 5 medications and 2 profiles. Dosi Pro unlocks the rest.
I’m a solo dev, so feedback goes straight into the next update. I’d especially like to hear about schedules Dosi doesn’t handle yet. What’s the most awkward medication routine you’ve had to keep track of?
