The idea was to build something from scratch, but also something that would actually help me with my work. I like aesthetic things and making things personal, so what I also like about this app is that you can customize the design to suit yourself. I think personalization can make a product feel more personal and enjoyable to use, while still keeping the experience simple and intuitive. The app is easy to use and has everything you need as a freelancer.
Building this product was also much more than just designing the interface. Since I’m not a developer, I had to learn a lot along the way, from understanding how things work behind the scenes and fixing bugs to thinking about data protection, authentication, data storage, and everything else that comes with having a real product live. For three months, I was constantly testing the product myself, fixing things, improving the UX, and adding new features. It was a learning process from start to finish, and vibe coding allowed me to turn my ideas into something real while learning more about both UX and the technical side of building a product.
