Hey Product Hunters, I'm Macit, co-founder & CEO of Dofo.com. I'm very excited to be here. Thanks to @chrismessina for the hunt. I’m a computer scientist and interested in domain names for fifteen years. It was annoying that all domain name information was scattered across different platforms. I decided to solve this problem with my team in 2016, and finally, we launched Dofo.com's new version today. Let me summarize what Dofo.com provides for you; πŸ” Discover Without Borders: You can discover more than 350 million domain names with detailed information. It is dead simple to find what you are looking for, thanks to our magical filters. πŸ€‘ See All Marketplaces: No need to visit different marketplaces to find your perfect domain name. We do it for you. 40 million domain names are already on sale. You just decide which domain you want to buy. 🎯 Follow Easily: If you want to follow a registered domain name just click the Follow button and enter your email. All changes related to that domain name will be sent to your inbox, such as whois change, expiration, price changes, etc. We look forward to seeing your great feedback! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! πŸ”₯

As an agency, this is a great tool for us. Today we searched various domains for our customers, matched domains for national and international registration searches, get directed to the source and purchased some of them. Well, who doesn't love a tool that makes the life a little bit easier? I do, very much. Thank you gents, I wish you best and good luck on your journey.

Great work @macittuna . Few things: Suppose I am looking for all available domains with total 5 character length including tld. For example: gd.top . Is it possible to filter domains like this? I tried but couldn't make it work. Is it possible to search for all domains available for a specific word but two character TLDs only? For example, I want to look for all domains available for the word "Tikola" but with two char TLD only like tikola.io or tikola.ai ..? Being called as Google for domain names.. I thought it will display all possible info about a domain but what I could see.. it didn't even display the complete WhoIs info. :( Are you planning to add more info like a little Meta data related to that registered domain, Social Channels associated with that specific domain or info about the associated owner, founder as well. Thank you :)

@niteshmanav Thanks a lot Nitesh, for your detailed message. πŸ‘‹ Let me explain one by one: 1. No, the length filter works based on the name (without extension). We didn't think anybody needs that :) Why do you need this, any use case, please? πŸ˜‰ 2. Yes, this will be possible by selecting ccTLD (county code extensions) on the domain filter. As you know, the two character TLDs are country code TLDs. (This feature will be fully functional in a few days). 3. Yes, we are working hard to show all related information about a domain name but not the website. Dofo.com is focusing on the domain name itself, not the content. So, this is because our friends called it "Google, for Domain Names." πŸ˜„ For the whois info, we are almost covering all the public info. Let me know which domain you are talking about. Thanks again Nitesh for your feedback and please share more feedback with us 😎

@macittuna Thank for the detailed response. 1. So, the main objective is to find the best possible domain for any startup or business... while .com is getting impossible to find, startups usually want to go for the most creative names and do try to keep it as much short as possible. For example.. https://dealsup.date is cooler than https://dealsupdate.com .. similarly , https://b.win is much cooler than https://bwin.com So, with more and more TLDs and ccTLDs, it's easier to find meaningful and sensible name which includes the last letters of TLDs as completing the real word. Also, it's a well known hunt to find the best possible name with the shortest possible length.. so if a tool can help me a domain of total 4 or 5 characters including TLDs/ccTLDs,, it will become the best site to go for any creative domainers or agencies. makes sense now? πŸ˜‰ 2. I noticed that but currently I have to select each ccTLDs one by one.. the easiest way would be to create a filter based on the number of alphabates in the TLDs/ccTLDs So, I want to filter all available domains for the name "Nitesh" but for TLDs/ccTLDs of two characters only like nitesh.io or nitesh.ai, I should be able to do that. Can this be done? For forture updates... or ( may be a paid option) , you may want to give following features: 1. Track expiry dates of your favorite public domains 2. Track expiry dates of your own domains and have an option to send 3 three reminders in the last month of expiry to the domain owner 3. Track SSL certificate validation for own domains 4. Track uptime/downtime.. etc. and much more.... πŸ˜‰ Waiting for your response. Thank you.

Seems to be a problem. There is no search bar anywhere. I just see a logo and then the footer (And the footer layout is broken on mobile)
Macit Tuna
@mickc79 Thanks for your message Mick. Could you please check it again? πŸ˜„ The mobile version is not fully ready and there are some known issues we fix in a few days.

Would be great to be able to put multiple keywords at once. (ps: the favicon is missing)

@victor_baudot Thanks for your comment Victor. πŸ‘‹ You can search for multiple keywords at once. Please check the Keyword-Contains filter at the left filter sidebar. i.e: https://dofo.com/search/?contain...
Adrienne McKenzie
