SpotFetch by DocentPro - Turn the posts you save into an organized list of places

by
SpotFetch turns the Instagram/Tiktok/Youtube videos you already save into an organized list of real places. Forward any Instagram, TikTok, or Youtube video to DocentPro - every café, viewpoint and hidden gem is auto-extracted into a Collection, ready to plan a trip around.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jake from DocentPro. We built SpotFetch because we kept hitting the same wall ourselves: we'd save dozens of travel Reels, then never look at them again until the trip was already half-planned. SpotFetch is the smallest, most stupid-obvious fix to that: 1. You see a Video/Post you like in Instagram/Tiktok/Youtube. 2. You forward it to DocentPro. 3. Every place inside the video shows up in a saved Collection — geocoded, organized, ready to use. What I'm most excited about is what happens after the save. Once your places are in a Collection, our AI trip planner can turn them into a real day-by-day itinerary - opening hours, drive times, food breaks, the whole thing. So SpotFetch isn't just a "save tool"; it's the first step of how we think trip planning should work in the AI era: you keep consuming inspiration the way you already do, and the planning collapses behind the scenes. We'd love your honest feedback - especially on: - the extraction accuracy on your favorite travel creators, - what your dream "next step" after saving looks like. Try it: https://docentpro.com/download Happy to answer anything in the comments! P.S. Works with screenshots and pasted text too — anywhere your travel inspiration lives.

My partner has 800+ saved Instagram reels of cafes in Lisbon. Zero of them are useful the day we land. I'd forward all 800 to this tomorrow.

I have hundreds of saved Instagram and TikTok posts of places I'll probably never find again. Does SpotFetch automatically categorize these by city, or do I need to tag them manually?

Jake

@rivra_dev That pile is exactly what got us started. No manual tagging, places get geocoded on the way in, so the city sticks to them automatically. Your old saves stop being a feed of posts and start behaving like an actual list. Forward a handful of your oldest ones and tell me where it breaks, that's the feedback I want most this week.
