Why I built DevnDespro SafeDelete for WordPress
Hi everyone! π
I'm the developer behind DevnDespro, where I build web applications, WordPress plugins, and practical digital solutions.
While working with WordPress, I noticed a common problem: deleting a page is easy, but understanding which other pages depend on it isn't always straightforward.
That's why I built DevnDespro SafeDelete.
It's a free WordPress plugin that checks for direct permalink references before moving a page to Trash.
It helps you:
Identify posts and pages linking to the selected page.
Review potential broken-link risks before deletion.
Check multiple selected pages.
Decide whether to keep the page or move it to Trash.
The free version is available on WordPress.org, and I'm also developing additional reference-checking capabilities through SafeDelete Pro.
I'd love to hear from WordPress developers, website owners, and administrators:
How do you currently check for broken links or page dependencies before deleting content?
Your feedback would help me improve SafeDelete.
