DeskArcade launched as 10 tiny games that live over your desktop but a few people have started asking "what else could this do?", and honestly I'm curious where the community's head is at.
The core of it isn't really the games it's the transparent layer that floats over your real screen and can react to what you're doing, without taking over your workflow. Games are just the first thing living on it.
So I'm genuinely asking: what would you want on that layer?
A native macOS menu-bar app that drops a transparent arcade of ten micro-games over your real desktop. Press ⌘⌥B, play for 90 seconds, press it again ,it's gone. Free, notarised, doesn't touch your real apps.
