Hi Product Hunt! I'm Yalin, the maker of Depot 07. I wanted to build a tactical shooter that people could try from a browser link. This release brings five maps, a five-wave campaign, survival mode, free weapon training, and 2-4 player friend matches. Six weapon classes and an in-match armory add choices about range, equipment and your next deployment. For the GPT-6 Astra Challenge, I used Astra in Codex to help plan the multiplayer architecture and develop the armory and latest solo modes. One concrete challenge was adding campaign, survival and training across all five maps, with supply phases and a true single-player pause, while preserving multiplayer rules. I directed the requirements and iterations; Astra helped implement changes, run checks and prepare releases. The new release offers nine interface languages, including English, plus keyboard/mouse and touch controls. The game is free to play. Friend multiplayer is in beta: relay latency and mobile hardware testing are still works in progress. I'd love feedback on the controls, weapon choices and your favorite map. Try the English version here:
How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?
GPT-6 Astra in Codex helped me expand a browser shooter into a more complete game with an in-match armory and three solo modes across five maps: a five-wave campaign, survival and free weapon training. It also helped plan the 2-4 player multiplayer architecture. A concrete challenge was adding wave progression, supply phases and a true single-player pause while preserving multiplayer rules. I set the requirements and reviewed iterations; Astra helped implement changes, run checks and prepare releases. This let me take on connected game systems rather than only isolated features. The latest release also offers nine interface languages, including English. Friend multiplayer remains in beta, with relay latency and mobile hardware testing still to improve.
