Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Decys because I kept watching teams — including my own — make the same mistakes: - A Slack thread turns into a decision that nobody documents - Procurement renews a tool nobody uses because "we already have it" - Engineering picks a new framework without checking the existing policy - Leadership delays a hire for 3 months because nobody owns the call The insight that drove Decys: most teams don't need more data or more dashboards. They need **one defensible decision** with clear ownership and a reason to revisit it later. So we built a system that: - Constrains output to exactly one recommendation per cycle - Makes governance a first-class input, not an afterthought - Works across 7 different decision domains (from procurement to VC investing) - Gives you a structured decision in 5 minutes — no account needed The deterministic engine (not the LLM) makes the final call. LLMs help with wording and extraction, but policy gates determine the verdict. We're a Microsoft ISV and NVIDIA Inception member. Enterprise controls are already operational (RBAC, SSO, audit exports). Would love your feedback — especially from anyone who's dealt with "decision debt" in growing teams.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I’m the platform engineer on Decys, and building this really changed how I think about decision-making systems.

From an engineering perspective, the problem isn’t lack of tools — it’s that decisions live in too many places and rarely become structured, reusable artifacts. You see it in things like:

  • “Temporary” choices that quietly become long-term architecture

  • Duplicate tools because nothing enforces visibility or policy

  • Decisions made in chats that never make it into systems of record

What we focused on with Decys was treating decisions like infrastructure — something that should be consistent, governed, and repeatable, not ad hoc.

One thing I found especially interesting was separating responsibilities:

  • LLMs help with parsing and structuring messy input

  • But the deterministic engine enforces policy and makes the final call

That distinction matters a lot when you care about reliability, auditability, and trust in production environments.

If you’ve worked on internal platforms or had to deal with “decision chaos” at scale, I’d really like to hear how you’ve approached it 👇

Decys is the kind of tool you don’t realize you need until you start using it — and then it’s hard to go back.

As a user, the biggest benefit is how it removes the back-and-forth and replaces it with clarity and direction. Instead of juggling opinions or endless discussions, you get:

  • One clear recommendation you can act on immediately

  • A structured rationale that makes the decision easy to defend

  • Clear ownership, so nothing falls through the cracks

It also helps eliminate that recurring “didn’t we already decide this?” problem. Decisions become something you can actually track, revisit, and trust — not just conversations that disappear over time.

For fast-moving teams, that shift alone makes a huge difference.

Would love to hear how others are handling decision-making in their teams.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback today.

Decys exists because we kept seeing teams regret decisions — not tools.

Most AI products optimise output. We’re focused on optimising judgment.

That means:

  • one verdict per cycle

  • silence when the signal isn’t strong

  • auditability by default

If you’re a founder or operator drowning in tool decisions, I’d genuinely value your feedback. The product is live and we’re onboarding a small group for early signal validation.
