We built this because we couldn't remember if our own decisions worked

by

Hey everyone. I'm Vikas, building decide with my wife Vaishnavi. We run a company together, so we make decisions all day. Who to hire, what to charge, ship now or wait. At some point we realized we genuinely couldn't tell you if any of our past calls had worked out. We'd just move on and then make a slightly different version of the same mistake months later.

That's the whole reason this exists. Curious if anyone else has this problem, or if it's just us. How does your team keep track of the big decisions you make? Or do you not?

Love the idea. Can I use it as a meeting companion? Does it have a Google meets plugin?

Thanks Anant! It's not a live in-call companion yet. Meeting Debrief works from transcripts, so you paste one in from Otter, Fireflies, Teams, or Zoom (or even messy notes) and it pulls out every decision to log in a click. No native Google Meet plugin today, so you'd just drop in the Meet transcript. Would you actually want live capture during the call, or is post-meeting good enough for you?

Most teams don’t track decisions, they track outcomes and then reverse-engineer the story.

This is an interesting product , it flips the script

Yeah, exactly. And that reverse-engineered story is usually where the real lesson gets lost. We wanted the decision and the outcome linked from the moment you make the call, so the loop closes on its own instead of getting rewritten later. Appreciate you seeing the angle
