DbGate 7.0.0 is a major milestone release (the first big one since 6.0.0, over 2 years ago). The headline change is a completely redesigned UI built on a new, more flexible theme system. Themes are now defined as simple JSON files (no longer plugin-based), making them easier to create, customize, and share via DbGate Cloud. Premium users also get a new Theme AI Assistant: describe the look you want in natural language and it generates (and iterates on) a theme for you. On the database side, DbGate significantly upgrades Redis support with Redis JSON + Streams, and direct in-app editing for Strings, Hashes, Lists, Sets, Sorted Sets, JSON, and Streams. Team Premium adds Team Folders for cleaner permission management at the folder level. There are also quality-of-life improvements like upgraded Svelte to v4, better pinned DB differentiation, and database icons for faster recognition.
