What would make you come back to a digital journal?

Hi everyone, I'm Jason, the solo maker of Dayleaf. It's launching on Product Hunt on October 14, and I'd love to hear how you actually keep memories.

I built it because I liked the feeling of paper journaling but often ran out of time for cutting photos, arranging pages and decorating them. Dayleaf lets you write directly on a page and add photos, with layouts for daily entries, trips, collages and more. Its 3D book has page turns, pop-up paper scenes and pull-tabs. AI can help write or arrange a journal, and the details remain editable.

You can try the journal without signing up at https://dayleaf.art/en#try. There is a free plan, and AI features use credits.

For you, what would make this a habit rather than a one-time experiment: easier photo imports, a favourite layout, playful interactions, or something else? And what usually stops you from writing the next entry?

Dayleaf - A digital journal where pages pop up, flip and pull

Dayleaf turns your words and photos into a digital journal that feels like paper. Write directly on the page, switch between daily, travel, collage and other layouts, and explore a 3D book with pop-up scenes and pull-tabs. Let AI help write a page or make a whole journal, then edit the details and add watercolour stickers. Save your journals, export images or a page-turning film, and share with the community. Works in your browser on desktop and mobile, with a free plan.
