Datastripes - A spreadsheet on steroids

When my cofounder and I worked at our previous job, we used to create hundreds of data dashboards that are very complex for corporations. The regular business users could not do anything themselves and had to ask the IT team to extract, visualize, and verify the validity of data that they use every single day. This was ridiculous! We came to understand that to make data analysis available to everyone we should create the tool that will fit everybody. Hence, about 10 months ago we decided to encapsulate all knowledge about corporate data into Datastripes. We are not going to make a very large and heavy BI system for you. Rather, we decided to make a very light and fast tool that is capable of creating Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) quickly with an infusion of forecasting and simulation scenario models that will allow you to quickly test out your business hypothesis and make forecasts in seconds. Moreover, to speed up the process of data analysis we created our proprietary intelligent analysis engine that uses heuristics from hundreds of historical datasets. We have taken a huge technological leap by making this platform entirely based on full-browser. If you care about your data, then you'll be happy with this platform because no information leaves your computer ever. However, running the program entirely through your browser means that handling large-scale data is going to be difficult. We have stuffed it full of various functionalities and widgets, sometimes it will not work and, when it doesn't, all we can do is to ask you to be patient with us and contact us to fix the bugs as soon as possible.
