DaPilot: AI Logbook for Pilots - Log any flight in 10 seconds

by
AI-powered flight logbook for iPhone. Hold the mic, say your flight, and DaPilot fills out the entry — aircraft, times, approaches, crew role, all of it. Point your camera at any paper logbook and it reads each row automatically. For Part 121/135 pilots: Airline Mode tracks all five FAR §117 windows, each linked to its eCFR paragraph. Free: manual entry, currency, medical, 8710-1 totals, sync. Pro ($9.99/mo): unlimited AI voice, logbook scanner, Airline Mode.

Hey PH! 👋 I'm Obada, the developer behind DaPilot. I built this because logging flights after a long day is genuinely annoying — you land tired, you still have to sit down and type in tail numbers, times, approach types, and all of it. I wanted something where I could just talk and it would figure out the entry. The voice feature came first. You say something like "flew KBUR to KLAX today, 1.2 hours, PIC, one ILS" — and that's a complete logbook entry. From there it grew: AI scanning for paper logbooks, FAR 117 duty tracking for airline pilots, currency dashboards, and IACRA prep for certificate applications. The free tier is genuinely free — not a 30-day trial. Manual entry, currency, medical tracking, and iCloud sync are free forever. Pro unlocks the AI features and Airline Mode. Happy to answer any questions — especially from pilots or devs who've thought about this problem. What would you want in a logbook app?
The app should be live Monday or Tuesday
