Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Viraj — solo developer, built D2D from scratch over 6 months. The short version of why: I kept paying AI generators for inconsistent results. 30 second waits. Credits gone. Different output every run. So I stopped looking for a better LLM and built a compiler instead. The most interesting engineering challenge: hand-drawn wireframes are never pixel-perfect. I had to invent a Gaussian decay alignment scoring algorithm to handle imprecision — elements within 10px of alignment get high confidence, beyond that it drops off steeply. That feeds into a CV-based CSS Grid detector that identifies intentional grid layouts from messy hand-drawing. The result: 300ms. Zero API calls. Same output every run. The core engine is live.
