Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm the solo maker behind cutty.dev — a URL shortener I built for myself after years of fighting shorteners that bury you in "upgrade now" banners, track everything, and stay vague about where your data actually lives. cutty.dev is the opposite by design: • Hosted in the EU — your links and click data never leave the Union. • 25 native languages — including right-to-left (Arabic, Hebrew) and CJK (Japanese, Korean, Chinese). • No ad-tech, no VC, no dark patterns. The basics are free and stay free. Under the hood: custom slugs (cutty.dev/your-brand), password-protected links, QR codes (PNG + SVG), expiry dates and click limits, UTM auto-tagging, and click stats with a country breakdown — no account needed for the first link. I shipped it solo over a couple of focused weeks. Pro features like custom domains and an API will come if there's real demand — but I'm not gating the core behind a paywall to get there.
