The game features various modes, such as Tutorial, Campaign, Quick Game, 2-player, and more. There are also presets to choose from to make the map look the way you want.
The core mechanic is flood-fill capture where you pick a color and claim all adjacent cells of that color, expanding your territory. And of course there are additional mechanics like energy crystals, bombs, supply cutting and obstacles that make it harder but also funnier.
