I loved how easily I was able to provide such a level of security to my homelab. The console is a great tool to have all the necessary information available without digging in hard to read log files. Great job CrowdSec.

@alexdelprete that's was exactly the idea. Thanks for sharing!

@philippe_humeau A fantastic idea and well implemented. The people at Crowdsec are very responsive and keen to help. They truly want to build a community and take threat detection and mitigation to the next level. We are BIG fans and use the service everyday. It is now part of our standard cloud server build.

I love the concept of community working together to reduce damage from malicious parties. I've just started using it with Home Assistant - it was awesome seeing it developed for that application. Are you planning on providing the dashboard reporting facility into Home Assistant at some point?
philippe humeau
@shadsnz YEssss. I love Home assistant too. One of the most brilliant FOSS projects out there. I'm using it constantly at home so we ported CrowdSec to HA to secure people's remote connexions. At that point, if we see traction on this branch of the project, we could totally think to add a dashboard as well, and why not the console in an iframe.

Absolutely fantastic service! I have been using it with my personal network on my OPNSense Firewall and have been really pleased with the results and ease of use. Are there any plans to further integrate Crowdsec within the *Sense platforms (esp. OPNSense)? Furthermore, is there any plan/progress on bringing Crowdsec up to full "plugin" status, and all the ease of installation that entails?
Philippe Humeau
@cirfis that's great news! We already have this OPNSense plugin available (still in testing phase): https://github.com/crowdsecurity... It's already in the official repository and can be installed in a few clicks. Further integration will come indeed, do you have any specific needs you would like to share with us?
cirfis
@philippe_humeau Thanks! The plugin is great! I was mostly just referring to the UI improvements and direct installation in the "Admin Interface" that I know you guys are already working on. Keep up the good work! :)
Philippe Humeau
@cirfis we are. Will keep you posted when it's out!
Thibaud Guenneuguès

Essential security software to protect your servers. They created a community-powered database of dangerous IPs. This is the wikipedia of bad IPs.
Philippe Humeau
@said_saad "The Wikipedia of bad IPs" --> love that. Do you work in marketing? :D
Lucas Cherifi
@said_saad Some also call us the waze of cyberattacks! Anyway, thank you for your support :)

Alexandre Perrot
Hi Guys amazing work already done with this technology, Any Automatiq Vunerability Response is done with your solution ? Could be interesting to interface with one global plateform (as servicenow with secops module) to have a one single data model Have you define a roadmap for the coming years ? and how many release (with new features) will you launch per year ? I Stay tuned to see your evolution keep going !
philippe humeau
@alexandre_perrot well we usually release one time a month and our roadmap is public on the website. That being said, there is much demand on this front so we are likely to use a tool to gather the needs and organize it more properly and give it visibility.
