I built Cosmos because the existing ways of working with media files were way too cumbersome. Files live in a lot of different places and finding them is a nightmare and finding specific scenes within video files is even more of a nightmare. The existing tools out there require you to upload your media library before taking advantage of natural language, reverse image, or audio transcription search. When you have a large media library, sacrificing precious time in your workflow to upload all of it online is a dealbreaker. That's why I built Cosmos as the first AI-powered media management platform that works entirely on your machine. AI models work locally so you never have to upload content online and you can search right on your machine, where your files already live. Think of it as a magic AI layer on top of your files.
