Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm a developer with 10+ years of experience. Recently I started building tools/sites/apps for games I play, mostly to make the annoying parts a bit easier. The game here is Teamfight Tactics (TFT), Riot's auto-battler: you build a team of champions, give them items, and they fight on their own. I rarely play by following the meta. Most of my fun in TFT is "what if I build around this?" Full stun team? Nice! Do I win often? No 🤓 There was no easy way to find all the champions, items, etc. that have a specific mechanic (e.g. On Death, Permanent effects, Form Change). So I had to read every champion's ability and every item's description to find the ones I wanted. So I made Cookpit. Main idea: choose a mechanic and see everything (Champions, Items, Traits, Augments & Wisps) that uses it. It also highlights the words that put each one on the list. People have already found it by searching things like "which tft champs have a knock up" and "tft champs that permanently scale from casts or take downs". There are currently 87 mechanics and 7 synergy hubs (like Team Buffs, where you can find what gives attack speed to other champions). There's also a mana calculator: pick a champion, add active conditions (e.g. already active traits and their breakpoints) and see which items make it cast most often. I started when Set 17 came out and thought I'd finish in 2 weeks. It's already patch 18.3 😅 Next: before the next set I plan to add a small "Academy" where I (and you) can learn and practice tricks that top players use. PS: It's built with AI assistance. The game data comes from the game's own files and is refreshed every patch. It's a free, independent fan project, not endorsed by Riot Games. I'd love for TFT players to try it and critique on what feels wrong. One recent comment that I heard (but haven't acted yet) is that mechanic pages take way to much vertical space and should be more like a cheat-sheet
