ContextSync - Sync your context windows across devices!

by
Most AI assistants have a "memory" problem. As soon as you switch computers or collaborate with a teammate, the AI forgets the architectural decisions you made an hour ago. ContextSync solves this by turning your team’s chat history into a shared brain. It automatically saves your VS Code AI sessions as structured Markdown files and syncs them via your own OneDrive or Obsidian vault. What makes it different? Hi everyone! I’m Zayaan, a CS student at the University of Toronto. I built ContextSync because I was tired of the "context loop." My teammates and I would spend the first 10 minutes of every coding session re-pasting the same middleware logic or naming conventions into our AI chats just to get it up to speed. ContextSync is local-first and decentralized. It uses your existing OneDrive/iCloud/Dropbox folder to create a shared context layer for your team. I’m just starting out with this, so I’d love your feedback on the sync logic and what other "vault" integrations you’d like to see (Notion? wink wink). I'll be here all day to answer questions!
