I launched a new small side project today - Jot — a terminal notebook.

Merry Christmas — or, if you’re a founder, happy “I’ll just check one thing” day.

I genuinely wish I wasn’t writing this today.
I planned to be offline. I failed.

Here’s the truth: I’ve been using a tiny tool internally for a while now because I live in the terminal and I hate opening Notion unless I’m writing something that already makes sense.

Most thoughts don’t.

They just show up, half-formed, a little embarrassing, and absolutely not worth a new page.

So I gave them somewhere else to land.

I launched it today. It’s called jot.

It’s a terminal notebook for nonsense (literally) — one notebook, no structure, no guilt.

That’s it. No productivity speech.

Just sharing in case you’re also “just checking one thing.”
