Content Studio - Generate social posts with a local LLM. $0 API cost

by•
Content Studio turns a single idea into a batch of ready-to-post social content without sending a thing to OpenAI or paying per token. It runs on a local LLM through Ollama, so your prompts, drafts, and data never leave your machine, and your API bill stays at exactly $0. Pick a topic, choose your platforms, and get hooks, threads, and captions you can actually ship. Built for indie makers and solo creators who post constantly. Open philosophy, local-first, no lock-in.

Hey Product Hunt šŸ‘‹ I'm Hugo. I build AI-automation tools in public, and Content Studio came out of a problem I kept hitting myself. I post a lot — across a newsletter, a personal site, and social. Every "AI writing" tool I tried wanted a monthly subscription or charged me per API call, and I was watching small bills add up for something I do every single day. It felt absurd to rent a model just to draft a tweet. So I built Content Studio to run entirely on a local LLM via Ollama. You give it a topic, pick your platforms, and it generates hooks, threads, and captions — all on your own machine. Nothing gets sent to a third-party API, nothing gets logged on someone else's server, and the running cost is literally $0. No keys, no quotas, no surprise invoice. It's deliberately simple. It's not trying to be a 40-feature marketing suite — it does one thing (turn an idea into a batch of posts) and gets out of the way. What's next: more platform templates, a scheduling/export step, and a "brand voice" config so the output sounds like you instead of generic AI. I'm building all of it in the open — code's on GitHub, and I write up what I learn in my newsletter. I'd genuinely love feedback from this crowd: what would make a local-first content tool actually replace the paid one you're using now? What's the dealbreaker feature? Reply here — I'll be around all day. šŸ™ — Hugo
