Hey Product Hunt! I'm the maker of ColorTools.
I kept jumping between separate sites for picking a color from an image, building a palette, checking WCAG contrast and generating CSS gradients. So I built one free toolbox that does it all in the browser: image color picker, color wheel with harmony rules, palette generator, gradient builder, format converter (HEX/RGB/HSL/CMYK) and a contrast checker.
No sign-up, no watermarks, everything runs client-side so your images never leave your device.

honestly the no sign-up thing is huge, basically everything just works the second you land on the page. the gradient builder in particular feels really well thought out, super clean layout and the preview updates instantly.

honestly the gradient builder is pretty slick, way easier than messing with code. grabbed a palette from a photo in like 10 seconds.

Picked a color from a photo and it matched the eyedropper tool almost perfectly, which is more than I can say for a lot of these. The gradient builder is a nice bonus for quick mockups.

The image color picker worked way faster than I expected, and having the gradient builder right next to it saved me a bunch of tab switching. No sign-up is a nice touch for something this handy.

finally a color picker that just works without making me sign up for anything, the palette generator actually pulled some decent combos from my photo

Love that the palette generator spits out the hex codes immediately, no sign-up walls. The gradient builder with live preview is genuinely handy for quick CSS work.
