Why we built Colitu — and what we’re trying to solve

Hey everyone 👋

I’m building Colitu, an open-source VPN designed for restricted, unstable and high-loss networks.

The main idea is simple: instead of relying on a single traditional VPN protocol, Colitu can work with modern connection technologies such as Hysteria2, VLESS Reality, VLESS XHTTP, Trojan and Shadowsocks 2022.

We’re especially focused on networks where normal VPN connections become slow, unstable or blocked.

Colitu is currently available for Windows, Android, Android TV and Linux, and the client applications are open source.

I’d really appreciate feedback on:

• connection reliability

• server selection

• desktop/mobile UX

• documentation

• anything that feels confusing or unnecessary

Thanks for checking it out.
