One Product Hunt comment turned into three Cloud World Model features
A couple days ago, I asked a simple question here:
What should a cloud simulation actually tell you before you make a real infrastructure change?
@rabnoor_s gave an answer that changed how we’re thinking about simulation results.
His point was basically this:
A simulator can give you a clean, confident number and still be wrong because it didn’t know about a dependency.
That led us to three product changes now in development:
1. Simulation coverage
Before showing the metrics, Cloud World Model will tell you what it modeled, what it estimated, and where the known gaps are.
2. Model agreement
If the rule engine and ML model disagree sharply, that disagreement won’t just get averaged away. We’ll surface it as a trust signal.
3. Reversibility
Recommendations will include how hard they are to undo.
“Save 40%” is a very different decision when rollback takes 4 minutes versus a day and a support ticket.
The bigger lesson for us:
A simulation shouldn’t just give you an answer.
It should tell you what it knows, where it’s uncertain, and how risky it is to act on the result.
All three improvements came directly from feedback on this forum. Thank you Rabnoor!!
Curious what else you’d want to see in that trust layer before relying on a simulated cloud decision.
