Cloak - AI that listens to your meetings and answers in real time

by
Cloak listens to your meetings and calls, transcribes them live, and gives you AI answers and notes in a private overlay — without ever appearing in your screen share or recording. Multi-provider AI (bring your own key or use ours), on-device-first, with auto-generated meeting summaries, action items, and a company-research "dossier" mode. Built on an open editor base so your notes live in a real knowledge base, not a silo.

Hey PH 👋 I'm Harsh, maker of Cloak. I kept leaving calls having missed half of what was said and re-watching recordings to write up notes. Existing tools either dump a transcript on you afterward or live in the cloud where I didn't want my conversations going. Cloak runs on your machine: it captures system audio, transcribes live (Google/Deepgram streaming, Whisper fallback), and a private overlay gives you AI answers and structured notes as the meeting happens. When it's over you get a clean doc — summary, decisions, action items with owners — in an editor you actually own. A design choice people ask about: the overlay is content-protected, so it doesn't show up if you're screen-sharing or recording. That's deliberate — your assistant is yours, not something you broadcast to the room. Bring your own OpenAI/Anthropic/Groq/Gemini key, or use our gateway. Would love feedback on the live-answer latency and the notes quality — those are what I've spent the most time on. Happy to answer anything technical. 🙏
