I built Clip Caption Kit after seeing how repetitive subtitle delivery becomes when one long video is turned into many short clips. The usual workflow is surprisingly manual: find each clip’s time range in the master SRT, copy the matching cues, handle captions that cross the cut, subtract the clip’s start time, renumber everything, and save each file with the correct name. Repeat that for 10, 20, or 50 clips and small timing or naming mistakes become almost inevitable. Clip Caption Kit replaces that process with a simple workflow: 1. Upload the master SRT. 2. Upload a CSV containing each clip’s name, start time, and end time. 3. Preview the generated subtitles and choose how boundary-crossing captions should be handled. 4.
