Hi Product Hunt 👋

I'm a solo developer, and I built ClinicsFlows because small clinics waste hours making patient handouts from scratch in Word, or hand out generic, unbranded sheets.

What it does:

  • 2,000+ ready-made patient handouts across 14 specialties (dental, pediatric, PT, cardiology, dermatology, OB/GYN, and more)

  • Add your clinic's branding — logo, name, contact info — in a couple of clicks

  • Edit any handout and save it as your own version

  • Generate new handouts with AI for conditions or procedures you don't see yet

  • Plain-language reading levels (grade 6–10) so patients actually understand them

  • Organized by category — post-operative care, chronic conditions, procedure prep, and more

  • Download a print-ready, branded PDF. No signup needed to try it.

It's free. A paid tier for advanced features is planned later, but the library and branding will stay free.

One note: the handouts are templates meant for a provider to review and customize before giving to a patient — not standalone medical advice.

I'd love your feedback, especially from anyone who's worked in a clinic. What handout does your practice still make by hand?

Love that the reading levels are baked in, super useful for our mixed patient base. One thing that would make this a no-brainer for us is a Spanish toggle on every handout, since a huge chunk of our patients prefer it and right now we'd have to remake everything in a separate doc.

Yes. Reading levels (66th-10th) are an important part because we have to take it seriously for our patients otherwise this handout will be just like other normal handouts. Reading level improves the post visit experience of patients. there is much more about this reading level.

Here is what i wrote more about the importance of patient handouts in addition to verbal instructions.

verbal instructions + patient handouts >> verbal instructions

I just published, i will work on multi language part. Thanks!

The plain-language reading level options are such a thoughtful touch, since most clinic handouts are written way over patients' heads. Smart execution all around.

How does the AI generation handle medical accuracy since it's pulling from generic models rather than a verified clinical source?

Maker

I used GPT-40 model or Claude for research but i have explicitly placed the note on the page to review before giving handout. clinics have to review before giving it.

For example, check this one.

The grade 6–10 reading level option on every handout is such a thoughtful touch—most patient education skips right past that and ends up unread. Really clean execution for a free tool.

Maker

I would say this is the core of this patient handout in addition to clinic branding because it is finally going to patients, our end users.
