Hey everyone, I'm Rohan. I built ClickIt because I kept running into the same problem: I'd copy something, copy something else a few minutes later, and the first thing was gone. I wanted something simple that lived in the menu bar, opened instantly with a shortcut, and stayed completely local. No accounts, no subscriptions, and no features I wasn't going to use. I ended up using it myself for the past few weeks, and once it felt solid enough, I decided to open source it. Right now ClickIt keeps a history of copied text, links, and screenshots, and it's just getting started. If you try it, I'd really appreciate hearing what feels good, what feels annoying, and what you'd change. Every piece of feedback helps shape the next version. Thanks for checking it out.

honestly this is exactly what i needed, native and simple beats bloated alternatives any day. the local-only approach is a nice touch

Thanks, really appreciate it! I wanted to keep it as lightweight and native as possible while staying local-first. Glad you like the approach.

💡 Bright idea

A paste queue would be amazing - the ability to line up multiple items from history and paste them in sequence, especially handy when filling out forms or setting up environments. Right now I find myself flipping back and forth too much between selections.

Thanks for the suggestion! That's a solid idea. I'll be adding a paste queue in one of the next updates.

shipped paste queue for clickit. makes filling forms and setting up environments way less annoying.
