ClearImageBackground - Batch process images into transparent background png files

Aren't you sick of the images having a white (or black) background and wishing they were easily transparent? You dedicate perhaps 20-40 minutes each time to this task? Do it automatically! Heck you can embed this script into a more complex (bigger) workflow!

Hey its Frankenmint
I make YouTube videos, right here: https://www.youtube.com/@franken... Well, I finally got my hands on a decent setup (running) and I wanted to be able to drop in images sometimes, like the equivalent to a family guy cutaway, but with images, because, well I'm lazy like that. So I got to thinking, why can't I get chatgpt to write something decent for me to use. So I did that. And it was awesome!, like fucking slick dude. So I used that and the amazing energy I got from the conversation I had yesterday in twitter spaces talking about the time I took LSD and why I don't necessarily go with the whole micro-dosing idea when the fact of the matter is that we'd all just prefer to take a good ole macro-dose from time to time to trip our lids off and actually find those unopened neural pathways to consider on the morons and more-offs of life, ya know? So, anyway, back to what I was talking about, oh yeah! I made this little script here and I started using it because, shit, transparent background images are way cooler than lame black or white backgrounds on photos and I'll be damned if I'm willing to sit through a whole afternoon of trying to slog my way through stack overflow to figure out the solution, noh, I'm an American, dammit, so I used chatgpt, to slog it's digital noggin through the solution and we hammered away something pretty slick in bash. I've gone ahead and added support for all sorts of image formats and it has the capability to recursively clear the black (or white) background on your images within the sub-folders for your master project. So if you happen to find yourself with several (or several dozens) of photos that need to be processed, you can download this script and run it to get your task done faster than it took you to read through this comment.
