Hey Product Hunt! 👋

We built ClawAPI because the API authentication model is broken for the AI agent era.

  The problem:

Every API provider still assumes a human is making requests. Sign up, generate keys, manage

OAuth flows, rotate credentials — this friction was designed for developers, not autonomous

  agents.

But AI agents don't fill out signup forms. They don't manage API keys. And they definitely

shouldn't be storing credentials that can leak.

  Our vision:

In a world where AI agents make API calls on our behalf, authentication needs to be reimagined

from first principles. Payment is authentication. Your wallet is your API key.

  How ClawAPI works:

➜ Install: npx skills add https://github.com/Claw-API/ClawAPISkills

➜ Load USDC on Base into your agent wallet

➜ Your agent calls Twitter/Instagram APIs, paying $0.001 per request automatically

Built on the x402 HTTP payment standard — an open protocol where requests include payment

headers instead of API keys. No vendor lock-in. Any agent, any wallet, any chain.

  What's available:

Twitter endpoints (user profiles, tweets, followers) + Instagram (profiles, posts) — all

proxied through RapidAPI with x402 payments handled automatically. Each request costs exactly

$0.001 in USDC. No subscriptions. No tiers. Just pay for what you use.

We're building the infrastructure layer for autonomous AI agents. Would love your feedback:

  - Should we add more social APIs? (Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok?)

  - What price point makes sense for agent-scale usage?

  - Is x402 protocol something you'd use in your own projects?
