I would be lying if I said coding with Claude Code was easy. Its easier than coding it yourself but not easy. You have to be careful what you tell it and watch it closely to make sure it understood what you asked of it. I find it important to tell it to ask me if it doesn't understand but even sometimes that isn't enough. In my System Prompt I require that files be backed up before making changes so we can revert easily if it gets off track. I've had to start projects over because continuing was creating more and more confusion. Backup files helps this tremendously.
