Launching Tuesday: a local AI story bible for novelists
Hey folks — Chronicle goes live on Product Hunt this Tuesday, August 4th at 12:01am PT.
Quick recap of what it is: a local-only novel writing tool that keeps a real story bible — characters, locations, relationships, plot threads, timeline — and feeds all of it into every AI generation call, so a 100K-word novel stays consistent instead of the model forgetting what it wrote two chapters ago. It runs entirely on your own machine against LM Studio or Ollama: no cloud, no subscription, no account, nothing about your manuscript ever leaves your computer.
It's currently a free beta — beta testers keep their copy forever regardless of what launch pricing ends up being.
If you've got a minute before launch day, I'd love feedback on the concept or the site (chronicle.agile-growth.net). And if you're around Tuesday morning, an upvote and a comment would genuinely help with visibility. Happy to answer anything about how it works under the hood.
