ChatGPT Pro Tools - Turn your ChatGPT chaos into an organised workspace

by
Somewhere around your 200th chat, ChatGPT's Recents stops being navigation. ChatGPT Pro Tools replaces it with a Chat Workspace: search, date and tag filters, multi-select and bulk actions, all in one panel. Then organize everything in two clicks — AI works out which tags fit your chats, you edit the list, one click tags your history, and new chats are tagged on the fly. Keep what matters with chat notes, saved messages and highlights, save prompts to reuse, and export any chat to a file.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Nikita. I launched ChatGPT Pro Tools here back in September 2025. It was three small buttons and it got seven upvotes. Fair enough — there wasn't much there yet. This is the relaunch of what it turned into. The thing I was actually trying to fix: somewhere around my 200th chat, ChatGPT's Recents stopped being navigation. I couldn't narrow it to a topic, couldn't filter by date, and cleaning up old chats meant clicking them one at a time. So the product is now a Chat Workspace — a full-screen panel inside ChatGPT where search, date and tag filters, multi-select and bulk actions all sit in one place. You narrow a thousand chats down to nine, and act on all nine at once. The part I'm proudest of is AI Tags. You click Generate, AI works out which tags actually fit your chats, you edit that list until it looks right, and one click applies it across your entire history. Every new chat is tagged automatically after that. It only ever reads chat titles — never the content of a conversation — which is also why tagging a thousand chats takes minutes instead of tripping ChatGPT's rate limiter. Around that is the stuff you need when a chat actually matters: private notes attached to a conversation, saved messages, text highlights, a prompt library with variables, and export to PDF, DOCX, JSON or Markdown. What I'd genuinely like to hear: if you're in ChatGPT every day, what's the worst part of managing your history right now?
