Hey Danielle, it's built to handle being plugged in a lot, just like the many li-ion powered devices that spend a lot of time plugged in, like laptop computers, for example.

@daniellevine When I'm not driving (or using it) I unplug it and leave it in the center console. Not sure if that's necessary, but it does make me feel better.
