How are you handling dynamic product ads at scale without going crazy?

Quick question for anyone running ecommerce ads:

How are you currently creating dynamic product ads (with real-time prices, stock, images, etc.)?

From what I’ve seen, most setups fall into one of these:

  • Manually updating creatives (doesn’t scale at all)

  • Using platform-native templates (super limited control)

  • Building custom workflows (powerful, but painful to maintain)

The tricky part seems to be:
Keeping ads visually consistent and synced with live catalog data

I’ve been experimenting with a different approach—mapping product feed data (titles, prices, images, stock) directly into visual templates so creatives update automatically.

Curious how others are solving this:

  • Are you satisfied with your current setup?

  • What’s the biggest limitation you’re hitting right now?

  • How important is design flexibility vs automation for you?
